MAR y TIERRA (El Cardonal/ Los Algodones)

Recently openend by a local family of fisherman and tourism professionals this is a real hidden gem, especially for those who love seafood and truely Mexican hospitality. The restaurant is located about 3 miles sourth of El cardonal taking the dirt road from Cardonal towards Punta Pescadero. Once you are in the tiny village of Los Algodones keep an eye out to your right, you´ll see a green building with palapa roof...that´s it. Tuesday to Sunday 8am to 9pm.

CAFE MARIA (Los Barriles)

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner: 8 am to 10pm daily, boxed lunches available 7am. This little restaurant has the absolute best Mexican food in town!

RESTAURANTE PICIS (Los Barriles)

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner: 6am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, boxed lunches and home delivery service available. Great local menu!

TIA LICHA'S (Spa Buena Vista)

Open for Breakfast and lunch: 8am to 4pm Wednesday's and Fridays. The number one breakfast place for Gringos. Closes from July to October.

CALEB'S CAFE (Los Barriles)

Open for breakfast and lunch: 7am to 2pm Tuesday to Sunday. Geat home baked breads and muffins, coffee bar and nice terrace with great view over the Los Barriles bay. Closes from July to October.

ROAD RUNNER CAFE (Los Barriles)

Open for breakfast and lunch: 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday, 7am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday. Great food, great prices and free wireless internet!

TACO'S EL VIEJO (Los Barriles)

Open for breakfast & lunch: 8am to 3pm Monday to Saturday. The best Taco's in town with tasty salsas and dressings

EL CAMPERSITO (Los Barriles)

Open for breakfast and lunch: 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday. Great fruit shackes, breakfast burritos and burgers, the right place for your lunch snack.

OTRA VEZ (Los Barriles)

Open for dinner and late lunch: 3pm to 10pm daily. This little jewel is run by an italian couple. Their menu offers tasty Italian food, steaks and sea food accompanied by fine wines and tasty Baja Brewery beer. On many nights they life music.

BUZZARD'S SPORTSBAR (Los Barriles)

Open for lunch and dinner: 10:30am to 12pm daily. Come for a nice cocktail or local beer, a tasty burger or to watch your game...and don't forget...Friday night is lady's night, no men allowed in before 10pm!

CAMPESTRE TRINY'S (Los Barriles)

Open for dinner: 5pm- 10pm. High quality Mexican food, nice ambience.

TIO PABLO'S RESTAURANT AND BAR (Los Barriles)

Open lunch and dinner: 11am to 10pm Sunday till Monday, 11am to 12pm Friday to Saturday (depends on the crowd). Steaks, Salads, Pizza's, Mexican specialities, Burgers, Salad Bar and the famous Karaoke nights that you should not miss!

PIZZERIA DI DON ROBERTO (Los Barriles)

Open dinner: 5pm to 10pm Monday to Saturday. Original Italian thin crust Pizza to eat in or take away.

SMOKEY'S RESTAURANT AND BAR (Los Barriles)

Open lunch & dinner: 11am to 10pm daily. Mainly burgers and some other specials, great drinks and a bar where you can watch the Los Barriles crowd go by or your favourite game on their TVs. Bring you catch because in the Smoke house they can smoke it for you so you can bring take it back home with you.

EL BARRILITO RESTAURANT & BAR (Los Barriles)

Open for lunch and dinner: 12am to 10pm daily. Our favourite Restaurant for Seafood - Friday is Sushi night and all is prepared by the owner, a professional hotel chef!

GERMAN´S PLACE (Los Barriles)

Open for lunch and dinner daily. A great little Mexican place with real home cooked Mexican food and good prices!

YOLANDA'S TACO STAND (El Cardonal)

Open for dinner: 6pm to 9pm Wednesdays and Saturdays. This is a real insider tip...you will not get such good taco's anywhere else. You have to bring your own drink.
